How it is calculated
Observed fraction = min(sprouted, tested) ÷ tested. Estimated germinable stock = inventory × observed fraction.

The test is assumed representative and conditions comparable. Sprouted counts above tested counts are capped at tested. This is a point estimate without a confidence interval. Defaults are illustrative planning inputs, not recommended minimums or a guarantee of safety.
