Groundsheet overlap coverage
Estimate covered area when rectangular sheets overlap in a grid.
How it is calculated
Length = rows × sheet length − (rows − 1) × overlap. Width is calculated similarly. Area = length × width.
Assumptions & limits
Overlap is capped at the shorter sheet dimension. This is flat ground coverage only; it does not assess waterproofness, roof support, anchoring or weather protection. Defaults are illustrative planning inputs, not recommended minimums or a guarantee of safety.
