Neighborhood contact tree depth
Estimate the number of rounds in an ideal expanding contact tree.
How it is calculated
Add contacts by level: b + b² + … until the sum reaches the household target. Time = number of levels × minutes per round.
Assumptions & limits
Assumes every participant reaches distinct new contacts, all respond and rounds operate in parallel. Use consent, backup contacts and confirmation; real trees are less reliable. Defaults are illustrative planning inputs, not recommended minimums or a guarantee of safety.
