CIVARK — BLUEHOST UPLOAD GUIDE

This is a complete static HTML website. You do not need WordPress, a database,
Node.js, an API key or a paid plugin. The package is ready to extract into
the document root assigned to civark.com.

BEFORE UPLOADING
1. Download a backup of your current site, including hidden files.
2. In Bluehost, confirm the document root for civark.com. It is often
public_html, but an addon domain may have its own folder. Use the folder
assigned to civark.com, not the root of another website.

UPLOAD
3. Sign in to Bluehost. Open Hosting, select your plan, and open File Manager.
4. Open the civark.com document root. Upload CivArk-Bluehost-Full-Articles.zip.
5. Select the ZIP and choose Extract into that document root.
6. index.html, assets/, articles/, tools/ and the other folders must sit
directly in the domain root, not inside another CivArk-Bluehost folder.
The corrected ZIP explicitly sets files to 644 and folders to 755. If you
previously uploaded the first package, replace existing files when extracting.
In File Manager, enable Show Hidden Files and confirm .htaccess is 644.
If hosting preserves old permissions, set the CivArk site files to 644 and
directories to 755, or ask Bluehost support to apply those permissions only
within the document root for civark.com. Do not use 777.
7. This package contains an .htaccess file that sets index.html as the home
page. Preserve your old .htaccess in the backup. If the old site has custom
redirects, ask Bluehost support to reconcile those with the new settings.
8. Enable your domain's SSL certificate and open https://www.civark.com/.
Use Bluehost's domain settings for your preferred HTTPS/domain redirect.
9. If old content remains, clear the browser and Bluehost caches and check
the document root and default index with Bluehost support. If the server
rejects .htaccess, restore the backed-up version and ask support to set
index.html as the default document and preserve the optional headers.

CHECK AFTER UPLOADING
- Open articles/designing-your-survival-philosophy/index.html. Confirm that
the longer article has section headings, a contents list and a body word count.
- Search for seed, then filter to Growing & soil.
- Open an article and a calculator. Change the calculator inputs.
- Open Community and download a planning template.
- Visit Knowledge vault and download the offline library.
- Test the menu on a phone and print an article.
- Browser offline saving requires HTTPS. ZIP downloads work independently.
- If you saved an older browser offline copy, reconnect and save the new
edition from Knowledge vault. Replace separate downloaded offline copies too.

This delivery was tested locally; it has not been uploaded to your Bluehost
account or tested against your individual hosting settings.
